Taste of Wicklow

For the fifth year in a row, crowds of people swarmed to the Abbey Grounds in Wicklow town forone of the most popular food festivals on the east coast.
Visitors picked up some delicious recipe ideas from the likes of Michelin Star chef Derry Clarke and Druid Chef Rory Morahan as they gave mouth-watering demonstrations, alongside many of our local chefs.
The selection of food stalls in the artisan food market were laden with locally made produce, giving just a glimpse of the mass of talented Wicklow people bringing their foodstuffs to the masses these days. Some producers even ran out of food, such was the demand!
I would like to thank John Sinnott and his committee for running this event and John & Colm Smith for looking after all the electrics on the day. I also want to extend our most sincere thanks to Kevin Gallagher, Gallaghers Supervalu Wicklow for sponsoring the Taste again this year.Your continued support in sponsoring this event has allowed us to keep improving Taste of Wicklow.
